DR. WENDY NG
Optometrist
Hello there! I’m Dr. Ng, and I am so excited to be the new full-time Optometrist at Chic Eyes to provide thorough and personalized eye care services to the residents and families of King City, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham, and Aurora. I am passionate about vision care and sharing my knowledge so that my patients fully understand their eye health and options. I believe in evidence-based medicine and investing in the latest technology to best serve the community.
I graduated from the University of Waterloo’s School of Optometry & Vision Science, and completed a clinical internship at the Eye Associates of Pinellas in Florida, where I gained invaluable experience learning from renowned optometrists, board-certified ophthalmologists, and retinal specialists. I love using my knowledge to help others - a few years ago, I traveled to Guaimaca, Honduras with Samaritan’s Purse’s World Medical Mission to provide free optometric care for the local people. I can’t wait to go on my next medical mission trip!
When I’m not at Chic Eyes, you can find me shooting double pars on the local golf course or stopping pucks in the rink. I also love music and am a self-proclaimed one woman band playing the piano, drums, and electric/bass guitar. Hello! I'm Ran An, and I'm the licensed optician here at Chic Eyes! With many years of experience in the eye care and customer service fields, I'm looking forward to helping you find the frames that best fit your needs. My educational background is diverse - I'm a graduate of JiLin University in China, the University of Warwick in the UK and most recently, the Seneca Opticianry Program in Ontario. When I'm not at work, I enjoy photography and biking with my 7-year-old son. Stop in anytime - I'd love to show you all the gorgeous eyewear in our shop!
